He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett T. Hanlon and Irene L. Hanlon (Dennis); his siblings, William "Bill" Hanlon and Ellen Caniff; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Hanlon and Bob Kaniecki.
He is survived by: his children, Alicia Freeman of Crafton, PA and Greg Hanlon (Hannah Sprowl) of Alliance; his siblings, Eveyln Raineri of Follansbee, Norman Hanlon of Hearne, TX, Dotti Kaniecki of Toronto, Jeanne, Tom Gilday of Toronto, Pete and Tamara Hanlon of New Alexandria, OH; his grandchildren, Blaine Freeman and Corinne Freeman; and his great grandchild Ella Schreffler.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foster Funeral Home - Toronto (701 Findley St, Toronto, OH 43964). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Gary's memory to your local American Legion.
