He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ralph J. Cope and Ada Elizabeth Cope (Reed); his aunt Jeanette Reed; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Sutherin. He is survived by: his wife Michelle N. "Mickey" Cope (Nevlis); his sisters, Kathleen Harney (Timothy) of Henderson, NV, Marla Strasbaugh (Larry) of San Luis Obispo, CA, Ruth Sutherin of Toronto and Gail Saner (Jim) of Toronto; and his pet Cosmo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Westminster Presbyterian Church (235 N 4th St, Steubenville, OH 43952).
