With sadness, we share the passing of Sylvia Austin of Toronto, Ohio. Sylvia, born on December 15, 1936, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Putnam and Alice Putnam (Goddard); her husband Ray; her children, Dianna Coburn and Randall Austin; and her siblings, Pearl Phelps, Raymond and Romey Goddard.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica Elder (Tracey), Brandi Rawson (Dennis), Shelby Richards (David), Randall Austin (Jackie), Misty Kubicki (Brian) and Justin Austin (Marie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Foster Funeral Home (701 Findley St, Toronto, OH 43964). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
