He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Roy Richard and Mildred Orthwein Richard; his siblings, Rex (Marjorie), Fern Kieffer (Jim), Paul (Marilyn), Bert (Lavonda) and Jerry (Barbara); his granddaughter Bonnie Sue Wright; his former wife Karen Berlin; and his wife Kathy Whitaker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Terri (Frank) and Melissa; and his grandchildren, Claire (Mike) and Seth (Mariah).

Memorial donations may be made to a food pantry or your preferred charity in memory of Joe.
