He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Sue Ferguson (Smith); his son John S. Ferguson; his daughter-in-law Karen Sue Ferguson; his daughter Julie R. Jestice-Blanchard; his son-in-law Paul Lewis Blanchard; and his grandchildren, David Andrew Jestice, John Evan Fountaine Ferguson, Margie Ann Mackenzie Ferguson, Daniel Ian Jestice, Duncan Scott Ferguson, Stewart Marshall Ferguson and Benjamin Lewis Blanchard.
