She was predeceased by : her father Tom; and her husband Phillip W. Davis Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Marcella Davis, Connie Rouse (Gil) and Phillip Davis Jr. (Deborah). She is also survived by five granddaughters; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

I have many good memories of being with the Davis family in worship and fellowship and school. Margarete never missed keeping in contact with me, and I so loved her for that.
