He was predeceased by : his father Donald Oehler; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Pandilidis. He is survived by : his wife Kelly Oehler; his sons, Ryan Oehler (Lisa) and Jared Oehler (Laura); his mother Lillian Oehler; his siblings, Kenny Oehler (Tammy), Sherry Oehler (Ron Barnett) and Donna Pandilidis; his grandchildren, Avery Oehler, Adley Oehler, Andi Oehler of Joseph James and Matthew Oehler; and his stepgrandchildren, Addison Bailey, Mason Marcum and Jackson Bailey.

Memorial donations may be made in Rick's name to the Edgewood City Schools Field Renovation Fund, 3500 Busenbark Rd., Trenton, Ohio 45067.
