He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Swartz and Janet Swartz (Zink); his wife Peggy Ann Swartz (Cox); and his sister Sue Werner. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Swartz, Robert Swartz, Jr. (Carol) and Shane Swartz (Lynne); his siblings, Phyllis Cottongim (Norman), Tim Swartz (Debbie) and David Swartz (Linda); his grandchildren, Ryan (Megan), Krista (Mary Beth), Laura (Josh), Betsy, Amber (Kyle), Heather, Seth, Kelsey (Nick) and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ava, Carter, Crosley and Kinsley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home (3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
