He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Horseman Davis, Sr. and Hazel Berdina Davis (Cole); his wife Patricia "Patty" Ann Davis (Nye); his siblings, James Addison Davis, Charles (Baby Davis) and Coletta Buchanan (Davis); his parents-in-law, Hubert and Fern Nye; and his brother-in-law Don Carlos Nye.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Davis (Jill), Sheryl and Sherry Davis; his grandchildren, Casey and Jessa Davis; his brother Douglas Delano Davis; and his brother-in-law Hubert Nye, Jr. (Wilma). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
