He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Giddens and Willie Mae Giddens; and his children, Teddy Leon Hammonds, Pat Hutchison and Otis Lee Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Jean Giddens (Cody); and his children, Caroline Morrow (Mike), Eddie Hammonds (Mary), Debbie Hammonds, Jimmy Dean Hammonds (Kathy) and Linda Marsh (Keven). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many other loving family members.
