She is survived by: her children, Robert Wilson, Lia May and Jamie Hairston (Steven); her siblings, Barbara Morris and Gary Lance; and her goddaughter Carla Sparks. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
