She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carey and Imogene Carey (Masterson); her husband W. Edwin Ely; her son Randy Smith; and her brother-in-law Bruce Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Hutchinson (Sandra) of Miamisburg, Tanna Poston of Troy and Teresa Andries of Laura; and her siblings, William Carey of Dayton, Doris Davis of Troy, Patty Evans of Troy, JoAnn Anderson of Ft. Myers, FL and Melody Lewis of Tipp City. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
