She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond C. Hance and Doris Margaret Hance (Wilson); her husband Dennis Wesley Higley; and her brothers, Robert and Marvin Hance.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Marie Harju; her son-in-law Aaron Harju of Troy; her grandchildren, Claire Margaret Harju and Nathan Christopher Harju; and her nieces and nephews, Roberta Hance, Jennifer Baum, Christa Plato, Kevin Hance and Jody Hance. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Ohio's Hospice (https://www.ohioshospice.org) of Miami County.
