He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Adkins and Madge "Opal" Adkins (Coburn); his wife Ida "Sherry" Adkins (White); and his siblings, Pauline, Betty and Paul.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Adkins; his stepchildren, Tracey Adkins, Tammy Groves, Terry Adkins and Talissa Adkins; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Kennedy, Lynnette Roeder, Rob Weethee and Chris Weethee; his grandchildren, Brittany, Jolee, Abby and Susan; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Johnathan; and his siblings-in-law, Rich Weethee and Cindy Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Miami County.
