He is survived by: his wife Donna Ruese (Slaybaugh); his siblings-in-law, David Slaybaugh and Debra Gomez; his aunt Shirley Stephenson; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Gomez, Jessica Gall (Alex), Richard Slaybaugh and Heather Kelly (Chris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam Gomez, Adrian Gomez, Jaden Hopkins, Kylie Hopkins, Cullen Gall, Ava Gall, Olivia Gall, Allison Slaybaugh, Quentin Kelly, Mea Mae Kelly and Baker Kelly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (555 N Market St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Casstown United Methodist Church or Bethany Center in Piqua.
