It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Phelps of Troy, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Shope and Virginia Shope (Fish); her stepmother Anna Shope; and her granddaughter Anna Kavalauskas. She is survived by: her husband B. Ray Phelps; her children, Michael Phelps (Angie) of Gahanna, William Phelps (Suzan) of Gallaton, TN and Ginger Kavalauskas of Hamilton; her sister Merrikay Hall (Louis) of New York, NY; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Marisa, Kirk, Sarah, Greg, Mike, Ethan and Braden; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, McKinlee, Jonathan and Madeline.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the OES Grand Chapter Benevolence Fund.
