He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald E. Cottrell and Marjorie Cottrell (Rike); his son Kevin Lee Cottrell; and his siblings, Sandy Sullivan, Kathy Ratliff and Ronnie Cottrell.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Cottrell (Carder); his children, Pamela K. Chandler (Ron) of Brookville, Stephen E. Cottrell (Theresa) of Brookville, Robert Cottrell (Katie) of Brookville and Stacey Baker (Luke) of Springfield; his sisters, Teresa Anderson of Mason, OH and Debbie Larson of Reno, Nevada; his grandchildren, Taira, Jessica, Tiffanie, Wesley, Brandon, Holden, Payton, Anna, Natalie, Brooke, Lincoln and Hudson; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Jonah, Kenley, Elyn, Audrey, John, Bennett, Lyla, Jackson, Liam, Jameson and Carson.
