He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Allen and Edith Gertrude McCallister (Honaker); his wife Bettie J. McAllister; and his siblings, Richard Basil McCallister, Paul William McCallister, Evelyn Boyles, Fredia Lyons, Betty Eddleman, Lillian Truglio, Fayetta Royse and Cline Noel McCallister.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lesia J. "Jeanie" Cole (Robert) of Troy and Debra Ann Hampton (Charlie) of Troy; his granddaughters, Joanna Hampton, Jennifer Hampton and Rebecca Cole; and his great grandchild Lilith Henderickson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
