She was loved and cherished by many people including: daughters: Kimberly Murphy Hurley (Will Hurley) and Kellie Murphy Borden; son-in-law: Will Hurley; grandchildren: Vander Hurley, Joseph Borden (Courtney Borden), and Daniel Borden (Marsha Borden); great grandchildren: River, Ava, Ivy and Stella; sister: Eileen Henderson (John Henderson); brothers: Everett Lavy and Robert Lavy (Sharon Lavy); parents: Ervin and Estella (Haas) Lavy; late husband: Ferdie Murphy, Jr.; late siblings: Paul David Lavy, Evelyn Shellabarger (Stanley Shellabarger); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (555 N Market St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
