She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Burchett and Millie Burchett (Scott); the father of her children Paul Alder; and her siblings, Eugene Burchett and Sue Burchett.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Alder (Suzanne) and Rodney Alder (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Lee Lauren Trusdale (Lucas) and Savanna Alder; her great grandchild Avery Trusdale; her stepgrandchildren, Samantha Lowry (Andy) and Zach Ulrich (Kylie); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kole, Noah, Nash Lowry and Isla Ulrich. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zerkle Funeral Home (11900 N Dixie Dr, Tipp City, OH 45371). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn's memory to the New Path Ministries, 7695 S. County Road 25A, Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
