She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rutter and Beatrice Rutter; and her foster parents, Gerald Meek and Jennie Lou Meek. She is survived by: her caregiver Richard Akers of Albany; her children, Greg Akers (Sheryl) of Centerville, Brian Akers (Laura) of Weston Florida, Kim McGuirk (Doug Train) of Troy and Karissa Hept (Corey) of Tipp City; her grandchildren, Jesse, Jackson, Emily, Joshua, Cody, Ashlyn, Morgan, Carly, Jack, Mike, Kyle, Shelby, Will, Lilly and Edward; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Peyton and Eloise; her siblings, Larry and Deb; and her foster siblings, Mike Meek and Mendy Abrahamson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
