Gary L. Gates Obituary
We announce the death of Gary L. Gates of Troy, Ohio, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 75. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence; and his daughter Melissa Ann Gates. He is survived by: his wife Leslie A. Gates (Browning); his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Heather Gates of Piqua; his grandchildren, Xavier, Riliegh Voorhees of Springfield, Mason, Ella and Pierce Gates; his siblings, Shella Shrout (Ray) of Tipp City, Patricia Scott (Jim) of DeGraff and Donald Gates (Janet) of Troy; and his sisters-in-law, Candy Arnold (Rick) of Waynesville and Chris Adkins (Dennis) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
