It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert J. Fogt of Troy, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert O. and Mary B. Fogt (Zorn); his wife Ada Joann Fogt (McClain); his daughter Deborah O'Banion (Fogt); his granddaughter Esther Michelle Fogt; and his siblings, Norman W. Fogt, Carl F. Fogt, Virgil C. Fogt, Wilda K. Fogt, Miriam Holtkamp and Doris A. Mays.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Michael Fogt (Ruth) of Richmond, TX and Kimberly Caruso (Fogt) of Buffalo, NY; his son-in-law Kerry O'Banion of Troy, OH; his grandchildren, Peter Fogt (Amber), Daniel Fogt, Andrea Sorem (Gunnar), Kevin O'Banion (Kaylin), Colin O'Banion, Philip Caruso and Kelly Braun (Eric); his great grandchildren, Calder Fogt, Charles Braun, Maxwell Braun and Julian Theodore Fogt; and his siblings, Eugene F. Fogt (Mona) of Houston, TX and Ruby L. Cecil (Richard) of Brownsburg, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
