She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sluterbeck and Glenna Sluterbeck (Poling); her husband Frank Rust; her son-in-law Kirt Chronister; and her sister Judy Shahan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle "Misty" McCabe, Raquel "Kelly" Rutherford (Chris) and Angela "Angie" Chronister (Kirt); her grandchildren, Cameron Rutherford (Lauren), Sabrina Washington (Justin), Benjamin Chronister, Madelyn Chronister and Cora Hernandez; and her great grandchildren, Phoebe Rutherford, Ivy Rutherford, Selah McWilson, Luna Washington, Lovely Washington and Zion Washington.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, Jan requested that a donation be made to Anna's Closet.
