She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gaier and Helen Gaier (Sekyra); her husband Spero Leo Mengos; and her sister Peggy Lauber. She is survived by: her children, Tony Mengos of Troy, Nick Mengos (Therese) of Troy, Mimi (Mengos) and Torello (Chris) of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Katie Taylor (Joe Taylor), Hannah Mengos and Luke Mengos (Jessica Wagner-Mengos); and her great grandchildren, Vivian and Camille Taylor.
