He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Kurfess and Margaret Kurfess; and his brother James. He is survived by: his girlfriend Ruth Glanzman; his sons, Brian (Sandra), Mark (Beverlee), Michael and Eric; his siblings, Dr. Nancy Johnson and Charles Kurfess (Helyn); his sister-in-law Mary (Jim); his grandchildren, Ryan (Emily), Brittney, Ashley, John, Jordan, Joshua, Justin and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Harmony, Mycah, Megan and Tyler; his close friend Riley; Mary Susan Kurfess and Carol Kurfess. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
