It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wilson of Troy, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Jr. Wilson and Dorothy R. Wilson (Kline); his wife Barbara Ernst Wilson; his brother David Wilson; and his grandson Connor Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, John Wilson (Kristie) of Troy, Deidre Wilson of Springfield, MO and Patrick Wilson (Melinda) of Grandview; his stepchildren, Kimberly Bergman (Kevin) of Ansonia, John Ernst (Nicole) of Tipp City, David Ernst (Renee) of Canton, GA, Jill Holobach (Mark) of Canton, GA and Daniel Ernst (Audrey) of Beavercreek; his grandchildren, Beth Wilson, Rob (Emily), Wilson, Lila, Charlie Raridon, Gabrielle Fugger (Colin), Kindred and Mae Wilson; his stepgrandchildren, DJ, Logan, Cory, Collin, Taylor, Shelby, Peyton, Dylan, Vaughn, Gibson, Harper Ernst, Kayla, Brittany, Sherry Bergman, Roslyn, Riley, Grace and Ian Northover; his brother Ronald Wilson; and his pet Prince.
