He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Jeanie" Ervin (Anderson); his sons, David Ervin (Deb Webb) and Greg Ervin; his stepsons, Craig, Mike and Steve; his granddaughters, Erica Grossman and Amanda Pulfer; and his siblings, Nancy McKillip and Robert "Bob" Ervin.
