She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Scott Powell and Helen Powell (Scudder); and her son Tracy Walkup. She is survived by: her husband James R. Whiteford; her children, Scott Walkup (Tammy) of Troy and Lori Walkup Green of Troy; her grandchildren, Jade Do (Thai), Evan Benjamin (Jenny), Christopher Walkup, Zach Walkup (Lauren), Noah Walkup (Megin) and Jessie Johnson (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Austin, Evan Johnson, Caleb, Cole Walkup and Mason Walkup.

Memorial contributions may be made to Miami Co. Animal Shelter or Humane Society.
