We are sad to announce that, on April 27, 2024, at the age of 97, Mary Irene Long of Troy, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Sphar and Ida Sphar (Anderson); her husband Albert J. Long; and her siblings, John E. Sphar and Helen L. Butt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana J. Long of Welaka, FL, Carol L. Long of Springfield, OH and Patty A. Unger (Paul) of Sylvania, OH; her grandson John Unger (Megan) of Mason, OH; and her great grandchildren, Greyson and Charlotte.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ General Fund or the church's ACS Relay For Life Team, in care of 120 South Market Street, Troy, OH 45373.
