She is survived by: her sons, Rod DeWeese of Orlando and Brian DeWeese of Roanoke, Virginia; her niece Joyce Coppock of Troy; her nephew Brent Coppock (Kathy) of Lewisburg; her great-nephews, Shane Coppock of Troy and Jordan Coppock of Troy; her great-niece Ellie Coppock; her sister-in-law Karen Coppock of Greenville; and her aunt Audrey Pemberton of Pleasant Hill.

“Rod and Brian - I am saddened to read of your mother's passing. We shared the same school district, and I think you two overlapped my two older boys, Grant and Clark, at East and perhaps 4-H, but I got to know Nancy best through the Blooming Garden Club. She was always a pleasure to share gardening news with and she was generous in setting up her garage on Dorset for our annual plant sales. I will remember Nancy for her sweet smile and ever present love and pride in you two sons. Marti Allen”
