He was predeceased by: his father Delbert Kitchen; his siblings, Donald Lee Kitchen Sr., James Kitchen and Ruth Ann Kitchen; and his brother-in-law Robert Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Lorna Kitchen (Rees); his children, Chris Kitchen (Stacy) of Troy and Craig Kitchen (Gina Gilman) of Troy; and his siblings, Nancy Kitchen-Drake of Troy and Jon Kitchen (Birdie) of Greenville. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
