He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell M. Kerns and May Kerns (Covault); and his sister Martha Howell. He is survived by: his wife Delores Kerns (Clawson); his son Mark Kerns (Tonya) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Abbie Markey (Pastor Tom), Aaron Kerns (Jessica), Alex Kerns (Paige) and Ally Summerlin (Sam); his great grandchildren, Ella, Eden, Easton, Ezra, Ryder, Riley, Remi and Kemper; and his sister Jetta Hudson Norris of Sidney.
