He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank A. Emberton and Marie Emberton (Howard); his wife Barbara Emberton (Deardoff); his son Harold Emberton; and his brother Frank Emberton.

He is survived by : his children, Tim Emberton (Kitten) of New Carlisle, Charles Emberton of Medway, Chris Emberton (Brandy Bricker) of Troy, Lisa Collins (Greg) of New Carlisle and Jennifer Bowman (David) of Troy; and his siblings, James Emberton of Bradford and Connie Carpenter of Tipp City. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
