She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. Carroll and Edna Carroll (Watson); her husband Herbert J. Schmidt; and her siblings, Charlie, Bill, John, Bob, Joe, Ray Carroll, Zella Sandlin, Alma Stevens, Susan Carroll, Kitty Dowd and Eunice Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Pearson (Tim Murray) of Troy and Timothy Schmidt (Karen McKenzie) of Dayton; her granddaughters, Gillian Gabriel (Thomas Duggan) of Urbana, IL and Danielle Gabriel (Chris Casillas) of Beavercreek; her brother Jim Carroll (Barbara) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Ballard of Troy and Connie Carroll of Columbus. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
