He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Nilsen and Anne Nilsen; and his sibling Emmanuelle Gosser. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nilsen; his siblings, Bill (Marcia Nilsen), Marilyn (Gunnleif Gundersen), Janice Nilsen and Sister Joan (Steve Heppner); his children, Marc (Kim Nilsen), Jody Nilsen, Aaron (Sarah Gosser) and PJ Dukes; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Marcel, Mia, Lola, Henry, Jonah, Silas and Charlotte.
