He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Heeter and Evelyn Heeter (Dearth); his wives, Carol J. Heeter (Smiley) and Adele J. Heeter (Butt); and his sister Beverly Bass.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert A. Heeter, Jr. (Kathryn) of Vandalia and Christopher Heeter (Diane) of Tipp City; his stepdaughters, Ashlyn Bassiri (Hamid) of Philadelphia, PA and Daneille Vrtar (Frank) of Dayton; and his sisters, Sandy Swartz (Larry) of Englewood and Karen Friesmer (Ted) of Florida.
