He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Speakman and Opal Speakman (May); and his former wife Anita Sue Speakman (Adams). He is survived by: his wife Charlene Speakman (Wintrow); his children, Ronald Speakman of Troy, Jeffrey Speakman (Lyvonne) of Huber Heights and Shelley Pritchard (Mike) of Bradford; his grandchildren, Jeremy Speakman (Nikki), Breann Taylor, Jon Meyer, Jeni Meyer, Jason Pritchard and Landin Pritchard; and his sister Mary Mullins of Troy. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home (1124 W Main St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Ohio's Hospice (https://www.ohioshospice.org) of Miami County, your local animal organization, or a charity of your choice.
