He was predeceased by: his mother Kathlyn Cyphers; and his spouse Rosaleen Cyphers (Toye). He is survived by: his daughter Kerri O'Reilly (Kevin); his grandchildren, Martin Patrick O'Reilly and Kyle Patrick O'Reilly; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne Elizabeth O'Reilly and Christopher Patrick O'Reilly; and his sister Sharon "Sherry" Hedrick (Howard) of Streator, Illinois.. He is also survived by grandfather and great-grandfather to his grandchildren.
