He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Smith and Vina Smith; and his wife Dora Smith (Knowles). He is survived by: his children, Wesley Smith (Cindy) of Dandridge, TN, Ronney Smith, II of Texas, Rhonda Wertz (Paul) of Troy and Stephanie Smith of Trenton; his grandchildren, Devon, Danielle, Ashley, Cody, Amber, Tessa, Liam and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Madison, Joel, Gabriella, Olivia, Harper, Savannah, Adalynn, Zander, Blake, Samantha, Cecilia and Cade; and his siblings, Linda Hahn of Piqua, Patricia Kooken of Troy and Ralph Smith, Jr. (Betty) of Marion.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given to Ohio's Hospice (https://www.ohioshospice.org) of Miami County for their outstanding care and compassion.
