She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Griffieth and Magdalena Griffieth (Meyer); and her brother George Griffieth. She is survived by: her husband David Cales; and her sons, Jordan Cales and Blake Cales (Ame). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
