With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Drake of Troy, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Brown and Mary Brown (Underwood); her husband Sherman E. Drake; her siblings, Lester Brown, Franklin (Caroline Brown), Irvin (Elma Brown), Marguerite Boggs (Jim) and JoAnn Langston (Bill Small); and her siblings-in-law, Shirley and Jim Palsgrove.
She is survived by: her children, Pam (Mark Bartel), Karen (Jeff Potter) and Jeff; her daughter-in-law Carole Drake of Grayson, GA; her grandchildren, Michael Bartel (Anna Durst), Megan Schindel (Tyler), Amanda Blackshire (Josh), Madison Drake and Bowen Drake; her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Haylee Schindel and Benjamin Blackshire; her sister Barbara Small; and her brother-in-law Francis Langston (Curly) of Troy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, Dayton, OH.
