She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Grissom and Miriam Grissom (Ingle); her son-in-law John Edwards; her grandsons, Terry and Tim Edwards; her great grandchild Ryan Edwards; and her nephew Gary Hesson.

She is survived by: her daughter Louise Edwards of Troy; her granddaughters, Tonya Edwards-Snapp and Tina Edwards-Bunger; her sister Helen Hesson; her nieces, Linda Pollard (Hesson), Nancy Donley (Hesson) and Paulette Ford (Hesson); and her nephew Steven Hesson. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
