She is survived by: her husband Sylvester James Phifer Sr. of Troy, OH; her children, Angelina Marie Besecker (Daniel) of Troy, OH and Sylvester James Phifer Jr. (Abby) of Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Olu Phifer, Chipego Phifer and Breon Phifer. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
