She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thaxton and Marie Thaxton (Messer); and her sister Patsy Kerber. She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Brandenburg; her children, Scott Brandenburg of Troy and Lori Altman (Troy) of Troy; her grandsons, Tyler, Tanner Brandenburg and Sterling Altman; and her siblings, Robert M. Thaxton of Virginia Beach, VA and Jacqueline Fessler of Columbus, OH..
