He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Shawler and Catherine Shawler (Gilmartin); and his sister Patty Hiser. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Lemon; his children, Scott Shawler of Piqua, Julie Green of Cincinnati and Kenny Shawler (Mary Pat) of Kettering; his stepchildren, Danny Bennett of Piqua, Leonard Bennett (Sun) of Tacoma, Becky Powell of Troy and Dale Bennett (Patty) of Gilroy, California; and his siblings, Marilyn Enders (Tom) of Tipp City, Ray Shawler (Louise) of Piqua and Mary Ann Long (Steve) of Piqua. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
