He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hopper and Polly Lee Hopper (Counts). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Leora Hopper (Wendland); and his children, Tamara Hopper of Dayton, Vicki Smith of West Milton, Janine Lee Flick of Hamilton, Sherelyn Miller (Richard) of Minster, Dwight R. Whaley (Trulina) of Mansfield and Leo Edwin Whaley of Troy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
