He was predeceased by : his parents, Lucie Watts and John Thomas Watts; his brother Edward Bates; and his wife Roxie Eileen Watts (Hetrick). He is survived by : his children, Kelly Gombert (Rich) and John Christopher Watts; his granddaughters, Katherine and Olivia Gombert (Matt Kent); his brother Don Bates; and his siblings-in-law, Peter and Diana Wayand.
