He is survived by: his wife Joy Hacker; his sons, Matthew and Paul Hacker (Netanya Hacker); his granddaughter Lily; his mother-in-law Marge Kearns; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Kearns and Mark Kearns (Mary Ann).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Pastor Hacker's legacy to consider making a donation to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, where he served his final ministry.
