He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Betty Jean Oberholzer; and his brothers, John Scott "Scottie" and Michael "Obie" Oberholzer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra L. "Sandy" Oberholzer; his children, Sherry Mata (Dan), Tammy Loveday (Robert) and Scott Oberholzer (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kennedy Cutlip (Erin), Jeremy Mata (Taylor), Rachel Mata, Arleigh Oberholzer and Violet Oberholzer; his great grandchildren, Lucas Jackson and Daniel Mata; his sister Shelley; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Morrison, Kathryn Oberholzer and Barbara Oberholzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews complete his surviving family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home (26 Grant St, Dennison, OH 44621). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (206 N 1st St, Dennison, OH 44621).
